hmm... debunk a myth for me?

So I've heard lots of stories about how colleges HATE undecided majors...
well not all colleges, the rumors I hear are primarily about the UC's...
But still: does choosing "undecided" on applications hurt one's chances? Is it that much better to just choose a major?

Thanks!

Hmm well, I'd just go ahead and pick one, because it says "Intended Major" or "Major of Interest."
That's not declaring a major, so you might as well pick one. Lol, that's what I did, on college apps and on NMSF and other scholarship stuff too.

no a lot of people go with undecided. just apply to the general college (usually arts and sciences) i doubt they'll look down on it.
