I applied to Berkeley, UCLA, Davis, and Santa Cruz. I've heard from several people on here that I don't need to send my SAT / SAT II scores immediately. Is this true? Should I wait to send these scores?

Also, what about USC? I'm applying for scholarship consideration, and I want to give them my SAT II's. However, I also took the SAT I in Dec, and I also want to those scores. I don't want to waste money if I'm able to send it for free come the 20th. Also, my guidance counselor is already sending them my SAT I/ SAT II scores, so do I still have to them online?

Thanks

yes, you can wait on teh UCs until Dec. Dunno about 'SC, however.

Wait, do you mean by the end of Dec., or do you mean they'll take my Dec. scores?

yes, UC's will accept Dec scores.

Got this from the USC admissions office:

Transcripts and letters of recommendation do not have to be received by the December 10th deadline, but should be sent as close to that date as possible in order for us to receive and process them in time to be reviewed with the student's application for scholarships.

A transcript is considered official when we receive it in the sealed envelope the school provides. It can be mailed by the school or the applicant and be considered official as long as the seal is not broken.

If the SAT test was taken at the earliest December sitting of the test, the official score report from the testing agency should be received in time to consider them with your scholarship application. To ensure we have your current scores, we recommend you mail a photocopy of your test score report. Results from tests taken after the earliest December sitting should be rushed to us; there is no guarantee they will be available for our scholarship review.

Documents mailed to us separately from the Admission Application should be mailed to the address listed below.

I THINK you want the UC ones there early Jan and since they can take 2-4 weeks, now would be a good time.

"You are responsible for making sure that the testing agencies report your scores directly to the Admissions Office at each campus to which you apply.

If you are applying for the fall term, the Admissions Offices must receive your test results from the agencies no later than the date in January when December test scores are normally reported. "
