So I just got back from a tour of five Ivies, and my favorites were Yale (which I'll probably apply EA), Brown, and Penn. I'm also thinking about Brandeis, Duke, Johns Hopkins (practically a safety--both parents are professors there), Carnegie Mellon, and maybe throw in a UCB or UCSD since they're both legacies. (The last few schools there are pretty tentative.)

Alright so how about my chances, especially at Yale, Brown, etc. given the following stats (keep in mind that I'm still a junior soo yeah):

GPA: 3.90 on unweighted 4.0 scale
Class rank: 3 out of 250 or so
SAT: 800math 770reading 760writing
Sophomore AP exams: 5 on calc AB (year ahead), 4 on world history, and I'm expecting a few more 5's this May

Prob. will get National Merit Finalist in a few months (234 on psat)

Schedule is pretty loaded with APs, might take some Johns Hopkins undergrad math courses next year

Extra curriculars:
-Been playing piano 11 years, and I play original compositions at a number of charity benefit concerts
-Also play alto sax in school, and a number of instruments informally (accordion, etc.. lol)
-Black sash in kung fu (10 years)
-Work as a kung fu instructor
-Pres. of Environmental Club
-Mock Trial
-Model UN
-Play piano for school Jazz Band
-NHS
-Over this summer I will work in a neurology lab at UCSD for a month

Basically the spring break Ivy-visiting trip has made me paranoid about colleges, so any feedback would be greatly appreciated. :D
(Areas I think I'm somewhat lacking in: perfect GPA, leadership/community service?..)

Oh yeah, and I'm white lol. So much for minority advantages. (I'm a lefty though.. xD)
