Hmm...possibility of

...being rescinded. Thought I would get someone's perspective on this forum as well:

A friend of mine recently found out that she got a C in an AP class for this semester, even though she got an A last semester. She got a low grade last quarter and failed the incredibly hard final. She said her yearly grade turned out to be a B because of this.

She's still top 5 in our class because the rest of her grades are phenomenal, but is kinda worried about being rescinded from Duke. I keep telling her she shouldn't sweat it. Should she?

One semester grade? I wouldn't think so ...

no no no- thats jst stupid no one ever gets rescinded- even kids with 4 c's

One C shouldn't rescind your friend. If your friend failed every class, then yea, she would be rescinded. Everyone has their hiccups. They may ask her about it though.

She's fine. If not, I'm screwed, too. But from what I've heard (in the real world and on CC) I think you have to try pretty hard to get rescinded. Like multiple Ds or an F.
