Hmm short answers and essays oh my...

When it comes to chort answers and essay and free responses:
Most (if not all) say "you can pick a topic of your choice".
is it ok to pick that? Or do they give more credit to those who pick the given topics?

Also if you choose to write about a topic of your choice, do you put your topc/question and the top and then start writing? Or do you just write it out and make the topic evident though the writing?

i don’t think so. i think they’re all weighted equally.

don’t know about the putting the question at the top though.

Anyone know about putting the question at the top?

bump bump bump

usually you check the box (or something to that effect) next to your topic… i know that’s true of the QB and Common Apps. which one are you using?

Just put a header with your name & the prompt you’re responding to so that if they lose the paper or put it down, they still have your application. :] Also, it just makes it easier for the reader…

Don’t write the question at the top or at the beginning of your essay. They usually make you check off which topic you’ve chosen or which question you’re answering.

I think if you choose ‘Topic of your choice’, you should maybe write a question up the top, to show what your answering. I don’t think it’s gonna hurt you whether you put it or not
