Also, I do not really do much in the summer such as community service or such cause I spend the majority of my summer overseas in the middle east visiting family.

Schools:

UT
USC
UCI
UCLA
Columbia
University of Chicago
Michigan

Any help would be great. Thanks Guys

Can anyone provide some insight?

Your parents are physicians, but you're a first generation college student? [as in your parents didn't go to college?]

UT Safe MATCH
USC MATCH
UCI Safe MATCH
UCLA REACH OOS
Columbia High REACH
University of Chicago REACH
Michigan High MATCH

Chance me? :)

You're not first generation, unless your parents got print-out medical degrees through their fax machine.

I have no idea why you would want to go to a UC school for the cost of a private. I'd pick more good private schools as safeties and reaches.

I would think being student president and varsity captain would help a lot, so I think you look pretty good. Have you looked at Rice or SMU if you want to stay in Texas?

Well my fault, what I mean by first generation is my parents attended college not in America, they got their degrees and did all their training overseas. So I am the first generation to attend college in America, my fault. Also, I really do not want to stay in Texas. I live in a very Conservative Town, and I would really like to go back to California as I was born there and lived there much of my childhood.

Anymore thoughts?
