that the SAT is easier (besides vocab) then the ACT. Seriously by the time I got to science I was like dead. Not enough time on all the other sections and while the science was only graphs it was still pretty hard.

What does introspective mean?

is the overall consensus that this test was hard?

i thought it was
MAth was whack
Both the other times math was way easier i thought

What the heck, the ACT was harder than the time I took it in June. Last time I owned math with a 33 because everything was so easy. However, this time I struggled to finish math on time and the last couple of problems. The test was overall harder than last time in my opinion

Hard test = better curve.

I agree, the test was relatively hard.

yea i thought it was hard too. although im kicking myself cause i missed a pretty simple math question (the one about the circle and the arc to diameter length.) I hope there's a nice curve on it.

I thought it was easy...probably means that i did horribly. :/

ooh choco, was that the one with the 15 inches pendelum and the 90 degree arc?

this was my second time taking the test. the june test was the very first time i saw the test because i have not taken any practice tests whatsoever. anyway, i felt that this test wasnt too bad and in fact, i thought the science on the june test was WAY harder

I thought it was harder than any other practice test I've taken.

True science was slightly easier. But I still think math was just ridiculous. In June, I breezed through like I was solving elementary addition, but I'm expecting a huge drop from my 33 :( . They better have a nice curve to this because this is the first time I didn't have time to spare every section..ridiculous

mann, that sucked so much.. the science section totally killed me.. i had to guess on like every other one :(.. the math was pretty difficult too......i only liked the reading sections lol.. ahhhh. what a waste of time :(

The ACT rarely has what could be called a "good curve". Just hope it doesn't deduct 2 points for 1 question wrong.

Ha, I had to look up introspective!

And that's why I hate the SAT. lol

Well, I've taken the SAT only once (on a whim) and got the equivalent of a 29 (2000something) which is the same I got on my ACT first time...There isn't an issue w/ time on the SAT, and the math is easier BUT the SAT seems to have less straightforward questions and the vocab is killer...

Math was waaaay harder than in June it seemed. Oh well, I'm done with the ACT!!

I think Im gonna take the October test because I really want a 33....do you score better if you take the test again? i'm probably gonna get a 30-31, but I want a 33+ due to scholarship reasons.
Is it easier to improve on the ACT than on the SAT because my mom thinks I should just give up :(

LOL my mom is the same way partially because she pays for them but yeah its easier to improve because you get a .5 boost when you do better on the next test.

what do you mean a ".5 boost"?

I think he mean's it's easier to improve because a 32.5 rounds to a 33?

SAT is much more easier solely because of the ACT's time limit. I know it might be just me, but I can't help time management in ACT even if I take like 12 practice tests. If ACT gave me five more minutes on Reading section, I would consider ACT/SAT level equally.
