hmmm so does 700+ on subject test correlate with 5 on AP test? =]

US History: 800, 5
Biology: 770 (M), 5

Got a 5 on the AP US History Exam, but a 610 on the SAT 2 US Test

5 on the Chemistry AP, 750 on the SAT2Chem.

Makes sense I suppose.

770 on SAT Chem
5 on AP Chem

690 sat ii ush
5 apush

chem sat ii - 750
chem ap - 4

Bio: 740 (+ easy mistakes) , 5 on exam

Kellannah, I had the same problem as your daughter last year (except with a 720 SAT II and a 4 on the AP). after the AP I definitely thought it was easier than the SAT II and I was sure that I had gotten a 5, I was so shocked and pretty devastated when I found out I had gotten a 4. I hope your daughter isn’t taking it as hard as I did.

world history: 4(AP), 690 (SATII)

For me it correlates.
790 SAT II Bio (M) - 5 in AP.
790 SAT II Chem - 5 in AP.
Shoulda taken the PUSH SAT II (got a 5 in that too). D:

800 chem,-5

680 on US History subject, 5 on AP.

Personally, I don’t think they correlate all that much. The SAT2 is much more memorization and fact base, while you need to know more indepth-type essay information for the AP. My amazing AP history teacher hates the subject test, and purposefully ignores it.
Granted, some of my friends did score 780+. But they’re the genius types.

700 Chem and 4 AP Chem :/

5 on APUSH, 740 on SAT. Also 4 on AP physics B, with 640 on the SAT. That second one actually may follow some kind of correlation, I’m not sure.

5 on AP Chem Exam; 750 for SAT II
5 on AP Calc AB Exam; 680 on math lvl 2 SAT II (but you should all know that SAT II math only have up to precalc)

“Bump”.

I do realize this is an old thread, but I think it would be good to bring up this thread again, especially with APs for this year coming closer.
