<p>Hello people from CC;</p>

<p>This might not be the right forum but anyone knows how teams/individuals are chosen for the HMMT? I thought that you would have to answer some questions with the application, not just names. Is it just random?</p>

<p>I think it is partially based on past results at HMMT but I am not sure.</p>

<p>I don’t think that page really answers how are team/individuals chosen other than the top 40 teams from last year get automatic invitations.</p>

<p>Yeah it doesn’t (had looked before posting here). I am just curious in the case of a (my) school that hasn’t gone there (or to any sort of competition of this magnitude) before.</p>
