I am currently filling common application. Should I write about my hobbies in extracurricular activities section? ( I have no honors similar things in these activities because they are my hobbies)
what are your suggestions?
thanks

bump…
come on its very simple question help me please

Anything that makes you stand out should be included to improve your chances. If you have won awards with your hobbies, it might be smart to include it. If the hobby is not unique (gardening, cooking, etc) and you haven’t won awards, it would probably be better to leave it off.

Hobbies are fine ECs. An EC doesn’t have to be organized, take place at school or result in awards. It’s always nice if there is some way to document a high level of achievement in your hobby but if not, don’t worry about it. I’ve interviewed kids who repair classic cars, preserve produce from their gardens each year, are collectors of things, sew, etc…All ECs and all had interesting things to say.

thanks for responses.
I really enjoy cycling but I am not member of any club or something. The same situation is with woodworking, although I have quite a lot of stuff made to show
