<p>Where in my application do I put my hobbies, the stuff I haven't gotten recognition for, but are important to me, on my common app?</p>

<p>I know essays are a good way to express these, but there are only so many essays that tailor their questions to my interests.</p>

<p>Do college admissions officers look at these as signs of uniqueness? Or is it just irrelevant?</p>

<p>Hobbies are extracurriculars (ECs). You put them where you put all your other ECs along with the hrs/week and week/year.</p>
