hey guys, so when ure home and ure done with ure ECs (if you have any) and you got some time to kill cuz ure hw is done and ure studying, what do you guys do for hobbies? I need some ideas lol i just like sit around, watch tv or eat or listen to music but am still pretty bored. lol what do you guys do?

I read and write. That's about it.

i read a lot of regressionist literature, and watch any and all movies

im a big itunes whore.

i like to download music and then reorganize my whole playlist (which has like, 1500+ songs i believe)
like yesterday was swamped with tests so we only had like one assignment which took like, 5 seconds, and it was for my last class so i did it during free block (other schools call it "study hall") today.

so i basically found pictures for every single song.
yes, i have no life.

OH I LOVE DRAWING AND SCRAPBOOKING. scrapbooking is some fun stuff. except when my mom starts yelling at me.
facebook notes are fun too, except facebook and aim kind of bore me these days.

i mean the routine, "hey, what's up?" with people you see everyday at school is like pointless.

haha itunes whore funny. For the readers, would you mind suggesting a good book or series and a brief summary?

Besides browsing CC, I go for runs and workout, go to the driving range (though not recently since the weather's been cold), and cook or bake. Also, as a dancer, I've been working on a duet I choreographed for the talent show coming up.

Read, write, surf the net, chat on AIM with old pals, research random nerderific topics, spin/knit/crochet/other fiber arts. Yeah, that's about it...

sushant269, I'm a fantasy fanatic. I like the 500+ page long 6+ book series :D Like Jane Lindskold's Firekeeper series, and Kate Elliot's Crown of Stars. My very favorite book by my very favorite author is Crown Duel by Sherwood Smith.

sushant, Angels & Demons is an amazing read.

Read; go over my neighbors house and play Brawl; talk on the phone; run for miles and miles :).

Read Dante Alighieri's The Divine Comedy.

I like to bake, but I'm not very good yet, haha. My fairy cakes are more like goblin cakes.

i usually run or work on my rubber band ball. yes, a rubber band ball. like this: http://www.thepencilgrip.com/dimg/0b6ce1e3e1a1b4a7cdab36b1ee20314a.jpg

i dont know why, i started it in 7th grade during the commercials of the AFC championship game and i add on a few every day or so. its pretty huge, so i have to buy extra big rubber bands now, but these days i sorta forget about it sometimes. i also play with my awesome dog.

If I had a rubber band ball I bet it could amuse me for hours. The one in that picture is so colorful! It makes me happy. (:

sushant: "The Book Thief" by Markus Zusak is an amazing book. It's about a young German girl living with a foster family during World War II. The family ends up hiding a Jew in their basement. The story is told from the point of view of death.

hmm i am really tired of books about jews... this year, our theme is social injustice and OMG DID WE READ BOOKS ABOUT JEWS... i am tired of em... coloradocutie, i have angels and demons but i never read it o_O. And Freznow, care to tell us more about The Crown Duel?

Watch movies, read, play video games...nothing too unusual or exciting.

i reinstall my operating system.
i've done it like...seven times this year.
it's kind of fun. but maybe i'm just weird. xD
i should just pick a distro and stick to it.

i hang out with friends or play soccer outside with my brothers.

sushant...some of my faves are The Road...and then fight club, invisible monster, and lullaby by chuck palahniuk. Geek Love is also good (it's not about nerdy geeks-it's about carnival people)

I have no free time but if i did i would read and write

hanging out with friends, facebook, AIM, soccer, tennis...

I'm trying to pick up a new sport outside of school and start reading at least a book a week again. I want to start writing a book, too. lol
