Did anyone get the full tuition trustee scholarship?
Has anyone that applied Nov 15 EA heard back? And was it by email or letter? Thanks so!
I think everyone here who has heard were EA applicants. Son got an email on Friday with congratulations. The portal was also updated. Others here received an offer in the mail with merit on Saturday and Monday. We have not gotten any mail yet in Suburban NJ.

Well, found out today sons SATs/ACTs didn’t get to the school until 12/7 …so he/we have to wait for Jan 15th! Would have been nice pre-Holiday but that’s the breaks(: Best of luck to all you Hofstra hopefuls and have a healthy, happy and safe 2020 Holiday Season!

Hey! I’m in CA as well and your letter should be coming soon. I received mine in the mail on Monday so I’m assuming if not today then the next few days you’ll receive it as well!

Son got a DM from another Hofstra applicant in another NJ town tonight in insta. This kid got my son’s merit letter in the mail 
He said he’d send it but I’ll call admissions tomorrow. Of course neither of them mentioned merit.

Still haven’t received the snail mail yet, but the portal have the financial aid packet reflected and it says Hofstra Presidential Scholarship for 30500. Hopefully we will receive it in a day or two through mail

Update, called the school and got through. They said the letters are in the process of being uploaded to the portal but were able to say son got $29K. Very nice. Congratulations all and good luck all around.

If you are denied EA do they at least update your portal to tell you? And does your application drop into RD pool?
Received financial aid offer today. Unfortunately it’s not going to work for us. We did receive the 30K Scholarship. Can’t justify the 25K out of pocket cost compared to 2500 at Case Western Reserve. I’d like to decline the offer so that perhaps they might award my sons scholarship to someone else, but I don’t see an option in the portal. Anyone know how to do this?
Same here…with tuition and room/board and fees it comes to 71k a year. The 30k doesn’t even make a dent in that.
