I just started my undergrad at Hofstra, butit is very expensive. This is probably a stupid question, but is transferring to Baruch for Fall 2016 a good idea? I know Baruch is well known for its business program.
I’m studying Finance and my current GPA is 3.2
I actually graduated from Baruch and took courses at Hofstra during the Summer. First, I liked both schools. HOWEVER, there is no way that Hofstra is worth three times the tuition of that of Baruch. If you aren’t getting a substantial scholarship at Hofstra, I would take Baruch hands down. HOWEVER, remember, Baruch is a city school. It doesn’t have a campus. Moreover, you will be commuting each way to Baruch unless you choose to live in NYC ,which can be very pricey.
