I recently applied to Hofstra and one of the requirements is getting a letter of recommendation.
I know a lot of colleges have specific forms you give to your teacher, but others don’t have forms and you just ask your teacher for a written letter of recommendation.

Do any of you know if there’s a form used for recommendation letters at Hofstra? I emailed the admissions staff, but they haven’t gotten back to me yet.

I am not sure if you ever got a reply. However, if you let your teacher or coach or any adult figure you have worked with know that you need a letter of recommendation they don’t need to follow a format of any kind. They just need to write a formal letter, talking about you and why you would be a candidate for this university. Hope this helps!
