hey guys; so these are both considered "safety schools for me" i was wondering if i could get some pros and cons of each and their reputation in the business world, mainly in Long Island-New York City region. I really only want to put one of them on my list. I was wondering which would give me better job prospects in the business worlds and which has a better overall "campus life". I'm a big basketball fan and want to ideally live on campus. Also St. john's merit scholarship page is very vague. Anyone know anything about which school has better scholarships? my basic stats are 91.24 UW GPA (96-97ish weighted) and a 1470/1600 (2200) CR+M. So there you have it. please weigh in!

bump

need some help

bump anyone?

Neither one has a great reputation but I’d give a slight edge to St. Johns. You may want to look into Fordham as well.

St. Johns has a good accounting program so I would give them the edge. If you are in-state you should also look at CUNY-Baruch which is strong in business and would save you money compared to the private schools.

@dlcor i understand neither is great but i’m trying to figure out which would be better as a “last resort”, i am also applying to fordham i visited and loved it.

@timetodecide12, i am not looking into accounting; i am probably going to go into management, marketing, or finance. Baruch is my other safety, i am applying to macauly honors as well but if i do not get in i still have baruch-honors as a fallback.

I’d go with St Johns.

@barrk123 reasons?

I feel that St Johns is a better place to be.

@barrk123… why ? that is very vague
