I'm looking to transfer to Hofstra next year after doing a year at RIT. I know it might be a bit of a downgrade but its close to home and thats why I want to go there. I am in the MET program at RIT and did well the first quarter (4.0) but I withdrew from my math class. I am either going to study business of Industrial engineering. I shouldnt have a problem transferring right?

I'd say you are as good as in

I think you will have no problem. Hofstra is quite an appealing school, with a number of good programs. Good luck and Enjoy.

Hofstra is a very appealing school. I go there on Saturdays with my D who takes a class there for young people. We choose to eat in the cafeteria cause the food is so good and the options plentiful! We also see so many students of all types coming and going and busily involved in on campus events. It seems like something is always going on.

Good luck!
