hold on application for test scores

I applied for cal state fullerton, Dominguez hills, Los Angeles and Channel Island. When i applied i had taken one sat and had a score of around 1450 in total but i had planned on taking the sat and act tests in December but my act was canceled due to an unacceptable photo and I accidentally overslept on my sat date. So i never sent in scores but, cal state LA and Channel Islands already granted me provisional admission with what i had. However, I just received an email from Fullerton saying that if i dont send my scores there will be a hold placed on my application. So im wondering 1. What is a hold? 2. Can I somehow get rid of it? &3. Does the fact that i didn’t take the two tests change how they’ll consider my application?

Also i checked my application status for fullerton and its asking for my 7th semester transcript does that mean anything?

If you stated that you were taking SAT and ACT in December, they are waiting for your new scores so they can finish reviewing your application. You need to email all the campuses explaining that you never took the tests and to use the current SAT score for your application evaluation. CSUF also wants a Mid-year transcript sent to make sure you are maintaining your grades. I believe they have a February deadline for the 7th sememster transcript.

Would i email the campuses that already granted me provisional admission as well or just the two that i am waiting to hear from? And would i be emailing the admissions? Thanks (:

I would email all the campuses including the campuses where you have been admitted. You would email admissions.
