Hold the drowns: EC short answer

So I have decided to become proactive ( try is the operative here hahah) and work on my essays/ short responses. I looked at the Common App preview and I was wondering if it would not be acceptable to put the EC short answer in a narrative formate--college essay-esque I guess. FYI a) it's not going to be a full fledge essay ( it's 150 words... I get it ) b) I personally just feel that writing it like a college essay would be easier for me. Why? I guess because while my ECs might be standard its through describing the action itself that I can really show myself.

Cheers!

I don’t know if it’s “acceptable” or not, but I see no reason to assume it is unacceptable. However, I would personally not suggest using a narrative format for a 150 word description. You will probably not be able to go in to as much detail that way and it will certainly be more difficult to write. However, if you have something specific in mind and you are certain it can be done in 150 words that you might as well go for it. If you aren’t satisfied with the result you can always write another. A 150 word description isn’t a major project after all.
