Holding off on the Mid-Year Report ??? ??

hey guys,

freshmen through junior year i obtained a perfect 4.0

Senior year i am taking even more honors/AP's but in 2 classes, I am on the A-/B+ borderline.

now if both of those fall to B+'s after the final, it would be in my interest that my Regular Decision schools did not see the mid-year report.

i guess my question is how late can i send the mid-year school report in?

any suggestions on that? Decisions for the schools come out in April, what would be the latest i should send the mid-year report? one school says March 1st as the latest to send it in. chances are, they would have already made a decision on me in the 2 months they had, and one or two B+'s would not cause them to reverse the decision, BUT if they had the info beforehand, they would be less likely? Thoughts...?

bump ........................

anyone have any idea?

is anyone atleast in the same boat?

Your application will probably not be considered complete without the mid-year report. Getting a few A- or even B+ grades in tough courses in your senior year should not harm your admission chances. Not submitting a mid-year report may take you out of the running completely. Check with each college to which you are applying.

Besides, are you in control of when the report gets sent? My d had to give envelopes for the midyear reports to the guidance office along with the transcript request. They send them out as a matter of course and routine, totally out of the students' control.

yea.... i think that i have to print out the mid year reports to give to my counselor, which i have yet to do? Thanks

Better to get the mid-year report in, than risk not being considered.

I have the same question. How is two B's and two A's on a midyear report look to top colleges? I've had a 3.93 GPA before.
