Holistic Admission - Int Student Specialists

Hi! Everyone!

I want to know how (for example) UC berkeley international student specialists evaluate student's applications

transcripts, SAT/ACT, essays (since non US schools rarely offer clubs, EC’s are of less importance), national/regional awards won, balance of candidates from different regions of the world and balance of talents.

Please note that you may get in, but then it’s up to you to find the $50,000 it takes to attend (no financial aid). So if you don’t have the money, it’s not worth getting into debt for it.

it is possible to get a scholarship after you get into uni? lets say like 2nd year of undergrad… ???

NO.
either you get the scholarship when you start (ie, at the time you apply - and the scholarship deadlines are usually 1-2 months before “regular” deadlines) or you don’t. In addition, you have to fill out a request for financial aid at the time you apply. If you don’t apply for financial aid as a freshmen, you typically can’t apply later on (baring some catastrophic event like civil war breaks out in your country).
If the university where you’re applying doesn’t have scholarships for students in their first year, it doesn’t have scholarships to help you pay later on (undergrad).

oh kk bro, u seem like you know a lot about unis. do you mind looking at my stats in detail including my essays as well??? i’ll send you all my stats to ur email. so please let me know~~~!! :)
