I was invited up to Furman to interview for the Townes Scholarship and RSVP the day after I received the invitation! However, I have not received a confirmation from Furman or any information about hotel rooms or scheduled events. I was wondering if anyone has more information or has received any further contact from Furman?
The hotel info was on the invite, and if you go online where you RSVP it has a schedule I think .
We received an email today with a detailed schedule. I presume that it is also listed online on your Furman college account.

No. I thought tomorrow the 7th was notification day, but the original invite says BY March 7th! Hmmmm…have you guys received any info? Any idea on how notifications will be given? Email? FedEx again? My daughter applied for several Furman scholarships and I think all notifications were to be done March 7th. Still waiting here…
We’re still waiting too. I don’t have any more info than you unfortunately . I was starting to feel less than optimistic, but if you haven’t heard either ,maybe it’s not a bad sign.

We are out of town so no way to receive mail (it was stopped). Please share if news came via mail, FedEx, or email/online. Hopefully it’s online but if it’s FedEx maybe a neighbor will check for us

I received a phone call from furman today but was at practice so I missed it! When I called back no one answered. Not sure what that means?

Thought results were coming out today on Duke Merit Scholarship Competition. Nothing from Furman today. Anyone heard?
We thought that too. We did not hear anything either . Not feeling too optimistic .
Pretty sure they said that we would be notified whether we received the scholarship or not. As long as we don’t receive a “no,” we still have our fingers crossed.
How many interviewed for Duke? How many scholarships? Hollingsworth was 25 interviewees for 10 scholarships.
I believe there are 8 Duke scholarships.
Evidently, notification letters to all interviewees were mailed yesterday afternoon. We did not receive ours today, so probably tomorrow.
