Holy Crap....my essay didn't copy and app is due 1/1

oh jesus.....i was chekcing my harvard supplement and it appears that my optional essay was cut off after the second paragraph. i just noticed it now. the application is due january 1st and i am on vacation, half-way across the world (Morocco) until january 3rd. so WHAT SHOULD I DO? should i e-mail the admissions office and explain what happened and send in the rest of the essay or should i just screw it and keep it as is since it was an optional essay anyway? it doesn't abruptly end; it still kinda makes sense, but i dunno. it wasn't a very good essay...it was basically about my experiences in other countries i visited (malaysia, singapore, thailand, turkey, australia, egypt, england, spain, and now Morocco) and countries i lived in (saudi arabia, egypt, and obviously america)and "cliche" stuff like that

Did you already send in your app, then? Just write a letter explaining it, and send in a complete copy of your essay (with your name, SS #, school).

yea i already sent everything in.... do i have to SEND in or can i e-mail? i dont have a hard-copy of the essay as i am on vacation now, and i dont wanna spend so much money to send one piece of paper halfway across the world

E-mailing an explanation would be fine...and would prompt a much quicker response.

Yeah, emailing should be fine. You can email the essay as at attachment, I would presume.

(i would leave out the part that you're wining and dining in exotic locations all around the world while they're likely rotting in some ****hole about to read more apps than there are diapers at Walmart.

haha good point
