Did anyone receive an email or text from HC indicating when they’d be releasing decisions? Nothing here. Good luck to all.

What happens next if you are waitlisted?
Holy Cross advertises a 36% acceptance rate, but this year’s acceptance totals would put them at 11%. Dropping 20+% in a year? Wouldn’t this put them at an Ivy League? I personally did everything I could to show HC I was interested so this is extremely frustrating. Strong stats and test scores and extra curricular. Interviewed toured and open house, alumni teach rec and convo with other alumni. Participated in chat rooms and social media.
With such a big class year for 2022, I think they decided to accept the amount of people that chose to attend last year (800’s~). I’m sure those on the waitlist have a pretty good shot, depending on the yield rate.
That is not how acceptance rate is calculated. Your calculation assumes that all 815 slots are filled with accepted students which is never the case. Their yield is 30%.
I think the poster misspoke… they didn’t accept 815 students they have 815 slots to fill.
Accepted with nice scholarship!

According to the data, unfortunately, they barely accept waitlisted students.
