<p>Can anyone here give me a little information on Holy Cross? Academics, Admission, Sports (football), campus and surrounding area.</p>

<p>Holy Cross competes in the Patriot League … (FCS/DI-AA). They currently offer no athletic scholarships for football (may be subject to change in near future). Aid is needs-based & earmarked by endowments. The school is competitive academically - but test optional for admission. The campus is literally situated on a hill in Worcester, MA (central part of state). There are several other colleges/universitites in Worcester… with whom they share academic consortium priveleges (RPI, Clark, Assumption, Worcester State, etc.). The social & night life is reportedly great. Boston is an hour away.</p>

<p>Fordham is the only Patriot League school to buck the system and award football scholarships… and for that, they have been banned from qualifying for the league championship/post season play. The other member schools in the league voted on the issue in December… and rebuffed the notion for now, until 2012</p>
