Home Period w/ a 0 Period?

Ok, so I'm taking 0 period AP Calc next year, becuase thats the only time my school will offer it, and I was wondering if having a home-period maybe the last period of the day will look bad at all. I mean, I have all the other 6 periods filled out, and it would just be another elective if I did take it....

I don't think it would look bad because you're still taking 7 courses (the average at my school and I assume most other schools with 8 period days). Plus, colleges will probably never know that you go home 1 period earlier than everyone else. It shouldn't be a big deal!

It won't look bad. You're overanalyzing the whole sitch. :P

what's 0 period??

swim: It's a period before first period. It's optional, not all people had it. For my school it was from about 6:30 to 10 minutes before first period starts.

i learned early on the worst time to take math is early hours...1-3 period in public school(im thriving 2nd period math in private school but r teacher is a teacher of small classes were a class of 11 and she keeps us awake) I will not take calc at least until i go to college but 0 period god thats early we had that for extra help in public school it sucked i never went i had trouble waking for 1st period let alone 0 period and taking math that period will be like hell

yeah but the only time calc is offered at my school is 0 period.

I am taking AP Physics next year (junior year) at 0 period. classes start at about 7:25, but good thing is that I am able to finish up the art credit requirement and take another interesting class.

So with a 0 period, you're taking 8 classes?

I go to a 7 period school and we don't have an optional 0 period. Maybe it's because we have FLVS.
