Homecoming season

Again, the three high schools on one campus so we have three themes they are:

High school 1: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
High school 2: A Night in Paris
High school 3: Candyland :].

I'd dress up as Donatello, rob Candyland, and hide out in a Night in Paris for a couple weeks until the heat died down.

By the way, A Night in Paris is a bit of an awkward title nowadays.

haha. hahahahaha. hahahahahahahaha. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAI'm such a nerd.

Our dance theme last year was A Night in Paris and Candyland was the sophmore class theme. Strange...

Lol, the Night in Paris was meant to play off that, or so I've been told. It's not my home school though so I don't know the truth.

Most kids at my school go to the dance with friends. A date is necassary only for Winter Formal.

"A Night in Paris?"

LMAO.

wow your school let that go?

We don't have a homecoming dance. We have a bonfire/carnival-ish thing. It's fun, I guess. It's much better than a dance.

ours was last weekend.

the theme was ancient civilizations, inspired by the movie 300. naturally, our senior class got ancient greece.

it was held at a middle school because our high school is under major renovation, but they hired an interior decorator and actually got a decent dj for once so it was pretty nice.

as for the date thing, just go with a friend that you know you'll have fun with.

Ours is in mid November. Our football team has lost our homecoming game three years in a row (probably #4 this year). The dance last year was alright, but I hate watching our football team get spanked by the second worst team in our district.

Ours was yesterday....20's theme

Ours is wicked informal. Really fun though. No theme or decorations, but a DJ. Basically everybody goes to the game and then straight to the dance in like, jeans and a t shirt or something, nothing special. Our semi-formal in December is our fancy dance I guess, and prom of course. Our homecoming game will be good though hopefully, the past few years they've lost but this year they are 6-0 so far so hopefully they'll keep that up! Oh just curious, do your guys' schools always have homecoming against the same team? We do, that is how they decide when homecoming is, by when we play that team.

Ours was last night, not having a date was actually a bad idea, but then again it didn't really matter. The DJ was pretty good, more trance then normal which is a plus. After parties were non-existent. Del Taco and In-n-out were open though :)

Got home at like 730am. Good times.

Our theme is "Game Knight".I hope you noticed the pun.
I'm not going, my baby brother is due that weekend.
Oh well there's always next year.

My school doesn't have homecoming. Well, we do have a homecoming football game/marching band performance, but no dance.

My school doesn't have a football team, nor does it condone dances...therefore no homecoming for us :)
Oh well, I don't know what I'm missing :P

We got in trouble for our homecoming last year...too much "inappropriate dancing" haha, and they almost took away prom. It'll probably be the same this year, but they made us sign "dance contracts" that stated that we wouldn't "bump and grind". O.o

I have a boyfriend, so my date issue was solved. :D Woohoo! Our homecomings are fancy, so I can't wait to wear a fancy dress.

Haha "Game Knight" makes me think of something like Dungeons and Dragons....it'll be funny if somebody misinterprets the theme and goes as a DD nerd. :D

Our football team (which isn't very good, btw) plays a different team for homecoming each year. The athletic dept. technically decides when "homecoming" will take place. It's in a couple of weeks.

The dance is semi-formal. I still don't have a date. But whatever. I have college essays to write.
