Just to get away from the usual topic of grades, let's talk about an event that's coming up:

Are you attending your school's homecoming? at my school, it's all anyone ever talks about the weeks leading up to it. Guys plan for weeks the cutest ways in which to ask a girl to homecoming. The funny part is after it's over, everyone goes back to being complete jerks to each other...

I’m debating whether or not to go to mine…Ive gone every year but I am a senior and most of my friends graduated last year so I’m not exactly sure what I am doing

I didn’t go to the game this year, but I went to the dance. As usual, it was a bunch of sweaty teenagers jumping and grinding against each other in a dark, stuffy gym. The music was awful and the PDA was even worse (and there was only one slow dance).

Homecoming was last week for me xD I didn’t go to the game or dance. I had a date, then she changed her mind, then I got another date, and she “couldn’t go.” And I didn’t go to the game because going without any friends is scary :< I didn’t go to the dance because I didn’t have a date (and my friends didn’t want to go), but I didn’t really want to go in the first place I didn’t see any elaborate date askings (you know what I mean :P). I heard it was fun, but dances aren’t really my thing anyway.

@LosingCrayon My date’s asking wasn’t elaborate at all-- he literally just walked up to me in the hallway and asked if I wanted to go with him. But then again we’re good friends so it’s chill.

@elf4EVA Same xDD I walked up to date number 2 during lunch (well, I followed her because she didn’t notice me for like a minute) and blatantly asked, but for some reason everyone around us was just like “D’awww :’)”
