Homeschool Acceptances (Class of 2019)

Congratulations seniors for making it this far! For both parents and students, I’m sure it’s a huge relief to be at this point now.

Has anybody received acceptance letters yet? I got into USciences and a local public school near me, and am waiting to hear back from seven other places. I would love to know how other homeschoolers fared this year.

My son’s gotten into Purdue, Missouri S&T, UT Dallas, SDSMT, and UC Colorado Springs so far.

Congratulations! Does your son have an idea where he wants to go?

I have acceptances to New Mexico State University and Wichita State University and am waiting on a NMF letter.

Thanks, TheDidactic. He doesn’t have any idea yet. He still has to hear from quite a few more schools, so no decisions will be made until April!

I wish you well, too! Sounds like you’ll have some good choices.

Congrats to you, albert69! My son’s waiting to hear on a special NM Corporate Scholarship.

I have been accepted to Clark University, Fordham University, Temple University, Loyola University - New Orleans, and Rhodes College so far. I’m waiting for news from 11 more schools.

Congrats @albert69‌ and @dancingwriter‌! Wow, you applied to a lot of places, @dancingwriter‌.

Thank you, @sbjdorlo‌. My main reaches are Cornell, W&L, and Colby. The other colleges are UVM, some small direct pharmacy schools, and a regional college in Maine. I should be hearing from them in February! #:-S

I have been accepted into Harvard, Emory, Oxford(as a finalist for a full scholarship), and Case Western (as a finalist for a pre professional program granting guaranteed admission into med school after college)… I’m still waiting to here back from Brown and Johns Hopkins.

Congrats to everyone for getting into such amazing schools!!!

@tkdgirl98‌ omg congrats! What stats do you have? Like ACT and GPA wise?

I got into UMD honors and the Banneker/Key scholarship and Towson, still waiting for 12 other replies

@madmik‌ 4.0 GPA (unweighted) 2370 SAT, 2400 SAT (superscore); I didnt take the ACT

Wow that’s incredible! Good for you. That’s the equivalent to a 36 on the ACT.

Congrats to all,

it would be really helpful if future admits could post their stats, etc.

My son was accepted to Virginia Military Institute with a 4 year ROTC scholarship.
He also was accepted to West Point (USMA) and he will report there for cadet basic training on 6/29.

Congrats to all of you!

@bookreader‌ - Congrats to your son! Thank you for his (to-be) service!
