<p>Just dropped a line to wonder how you all will counter the homesickness that is bound to envelop us as we initiate our new lives in the United States. I, for one, will be bringing loads and loads of tissue boxes and stocking up on cellphone prepaid credit.</p>

<p>Im sick of home too, im from Holland, it's all <strong><em>ed up there, people are arrogant and dumb. Even politics is *</em></strong>ed up, you can not open your mouth without getting a knive through your heart. But when you are homesick, just buy yourself a good webcam with that voicestuff, the only difference is that you can not touch your beloved ones, but who gives a *** right?:D:D</p>
<p>homesickness will go off in some months.. what u may do to counter it is face the truth and enjoy ur time to fullest at the university..</p>
<p>moreover be in touch with family and friends via internet phone cams and all..then well soon over ull start adjusting.. there is nothing in specific u can ever do to counter homesickness its just automatic and would creep in sure..!! u may minimize it by enjoying ur time at the university and not getting sad over not being at home.. this way u though feel bad at not being at home yet feel happy at the wonderful time you getting even then..</p>
<p>moreover just wait and watch and ull adjust to it soon enough.. ADAPTABILITY is the word.. heeh</p>
