Homework Order

Yeah, I procrastinate a lot with Minesweeper. I'm very proud of my best time for the expert level: 93 seconds!!

mesotired - You haven't had homework for AP physics? I have homework twice a week, and a test every week.

2004 CCERS REPRESENT!

I wake up early and do the hard stuff, and do the easy stuff at school.

at first I was reading this thinking “who the heck wants to talk about hw during summer?”

a little looking at the date goes a long ways.

Anything other than history, english, math and physics goes first. Usually worksheets or minor readings.

English readings, then History readings. This takes the longest (3-4 hours or more) and I usually get distracted with Facebook and/or eating food.

Calculus and physics homework gets done the day it’s due in the morning or at lunch.

Next year I’ll have a release period to make space for my dual enrollment, so I’ll have more time during the day to do homework.

I don’t really do it by subject…I do it by whatever is due soonest…

I am utterly unproductive until around 11:30pm, and then I kick into high gear. Easy things like math problems first, and things like essays and projects (which I never start until the night before they’re due anyway) last. It’s an awful, awful system, but it’s worked for the past six years!
