Possible Major:
I want to go in as a history major

Your scores will kill you unless you bring them up (both SAT I and SAT II scores). Good ECs, good ranking/GPA, but it's difficult to tell you anything more until we see how far your scores can go.

your SAT's will hurt you very badly but won't kill you; SATI: a 2030 alone gives you a 6.2% chance .. SAT II 530 on chemistry really bad.. very good gpa and class rank but i'd bet it wouldn't be a great indicator for your academic performance

That is a misuse of statistics. A 2030 SAT gives a 6.2% chance over the whole population of people with 2030 SAT scores. But they don't all also have 530s on the chemistry SAT II, which is what really kills this application.

you can take the SAT II chem test again, i believe.. if you can, i'd do that and see if you can get 700+ on it.. that'll look better than the 530

i think you should try taking the ACT
if you do badly on it you don't have to report that score, since it's not like a rap sheet of all your scores, you only report one
honestly consider taking it
