honest opinions needed

im in serious need of some honest opinions on whether ill get into the schools im applying to or not. i feel that my guidance counselor is being WAY too pessimistic. she says that i do not have any safetys and that the only targets i have are penn state and delaware, everything else reach. and my mom is being WAY to optimistic, she thinks im going to get into all of them and wait-listed to penn. so some help would be greatly appreciated. here i am:

no class rank, i go to a really competitive public school

competition cheerleading
pop warner student demonstrator (community service)
ballet, tap, jazz dance for 12 years
job in summer and sr year
future business leaders of america
church youth group

im applying to villanova, boston college, penn state university park, university of delaware, upenn (yeah i know, ultra super reach), nyu stern, and lehigh
thanks! ill really appreciate any feedback

I think that everything but upenn and nyu are safeties for you. You seem to have taken a hard course load and your test scores and ec's are good. Is your GPA weighted or not? That would make a difference, but seriously my counselor has done the same with me and its frustrating but im sure ull get into many of those schools.

yeah my gpa is weighted. and even though my course load is hard now, freshman year I only took one honors and really didnt care much. highest gpa possible in my school is 4.6 out of 4.0 (because its weighted) and i know about 10-15 who have close to a perfect 4.6, its rediculous over here.

you shouldn't have any problem with those schools. you'll should be able to get into at least 50% of them.
