(All of that was a jumble of stuff from my resume)

Oh yeah, my brother graduated from UVa, if that helps at all...

Please chance me for UVa! And suggest whether or not I should apply to some other schools? Of course I'll have some safeties too!

Not sure, your GPA is a little low...you should still apply of course, you might still get in with your EC's. someone got a 2300 and 4.4 GPA but was a bum and got rejected.

i dont see what music preference has to do with this lol but just wanted to let you know there are scholarships for people that are tall

yeah i think you'll get in.

chance me?

I got under a 3.0 in high school, went to Northern Virginia Community College, and got guaranteed admission to UVA after I got my associates. (degree, specific course load and 3.4+ GPA are all that's required)

It's guaranteed, so if you "have" to go to UVA, and don't get in, you can always go that route, it's way cheaper too. You can get your associates in one year if you do Summer Fall Spring Summer semesters too.

Just some info I thought you might like to know.

After reading your post, I would definitely have to say that you is a real g fo sho.
As the co-founder and current president of my school's chapter I especially admire your participation in International Club.
Student of the Year in French III-I can definitely relate.
The rest of the stuff, like IB Diploma and that huge list of awards, that was hecka impressive. And host of Hunan Gourmet Chinese Restaurant, you are most likely going to stand out with that.

If UVa's where u wanna go, you iz gettin in no doubt.
I would also recommend Cal Berkeley, Princeton, Northwestern, Stanford, UC Los Angeles, VT, and Harvard.

Overall, I gotta give u some mad props dude.

You have good grades, decent scores, excellent ECs, you're in-state, and you're a legacy. I think you're definitely in.

Thanks everyone, I REALLY appreciate all the input.

Oh and I'm not really THAT tall, but I'm around 6'1 and a half-ish. I have no idea what music preference has to do with anything either but for some reason my teachers like it lol.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Anyone else?

What would everyone say my chances were at the likes of Cornell, Brown, or Carnegie Mellon?

easy in at Virginia/good shot at CMU/Cornell/reach at Brown just b/c of numbers applying.

Yeah, I'm def. a doubter on the Ivies, but I'll just try for some just to see what happens because I'll most likely regret it if I don't apply.

Anyone else??
