<p>I TAG’d UCI, so I’m not all that anxious about the decision.
I just want to know so I can get on with my life. It’s all I’ve been thinking about for the three years I’ve been at CC.</p>
<p>It’s nice to know everyone is in the same boat! Seriously, the boost in prestige and opportunities will be endless. If I ran a university, I would have everyone work like a sweat shop and hand out decisions in a week maximum.</p>
<p>I’m really shocked how close decision are. I almost forgot. Last year was so slow and I was so ready to leave but now I’m actually getting sad about leaving my hometown. I’ll most likely be going to UCSC which is 7 hours away I’m almost starting to wish I applied to UCR so I could stay local but I feel I would regret that in the long run. Less then 3 weeks now for us taggers!</p>
<p>Do they release TAG decisions in the first batch?</p>
<p>I believe they do all the taggers first.</p>
<p>UCSB is all random, so even if you TAG’ed you might get your decision much later than someone who didn’t TAG. The wait can be excruciating.</p>

<p>@purr all I know is that batches should be coming out of uci around beginning of March. I tagged so I’m hoping to hear back in a week or two but from what I’ve seen in last years Uci decisions forum, some taggers waited till April while some non taggers heard back in march. Almost anything goes but many taggers generally hear back sooner. Best of luck to both of us!</p>

<p>Yeah TAG is probably what got you the early admission. I’ve applied to UCM and would be glad to go there, but I think they were shocked that someone TAG their school lol</p>
<p>Any particular reason you chose to tag Merced over the other available colleges? I mean, if it’s a guarantee, why not tag Davis or SD or SB?</p>

<p>It’s killing me too. I’m literally counting down the days - 45 until Davis, 51 until Berkeley. And I’m trying to do an intercampus transfer as well, so I completely understand the whole “life changing” thing.</p>
<p>I know we are still in early stage now but I’m really really dying to know and even a bit worried…
I applied to all 9 UC campuses for mostly business and econ majors. At first, I thought a high ccc GPA (4.0) will bring me early admission to UCR, UCM, and UCI; but it’s almost a week after Mar-1 and I haven’t heard from anyone of them yet. I’m now suspecting if I missed some required classes or if I messed up my application. I’ve been “double-checking” my app, assist.org, email, and different schools’ portals, not to mention this forum, like every three hours…</p>
<p>Lawl. Don’t worry that much. Relax. They’ll slowly get to everyone. I felt the same way when I applied to college right out of high school. It’s too nerve wrecking.</p>
