<p>Hi, this is my first chance thread and I'm just so stressed out from the college application process. I really need some honest opinions such as which would be my safeties (if any...). Thanks in advance. =)</p>

<p>Test Scores
-SAT:
-M:590 R:490 W:450
I know it's very average, I will be taking it again this Saturday in an attempt to optimize my scores as best I can.</p>
<p>GPA/Rank/Classes
-3.65 UW
-Top 15% at least. My school will be coming out with the list soon.
-Honors Physics, Honors Chemistry
-AP World History, AP Literature
-Advance Powerplant (4 Periods a day.)</p>
<p>Extracurricular Activities
-Volunteered for and organization called CPC for 4 weeks. (Summer of 2009.)
-Pegasus Honor Society (2009)
-7 week SAT classes at a private organization (Summer of 2008.) (Not sure if this counts.)</p>
<p>Essays
-I'm not the best writer out there considering my writing score... but I put my heart and soul into these essays.</p>

-Great Recommendations from Physics teacher and Counselor. </p>

<p>You definately need to get your SAT up so good luck for the test! If you look up the colleges on college board and click ‘how do i stack up?’ it’ll tell you there average SAT scores. Good luck. (:</p>
<p>relax a bit, looks like you want tech schools, check out Virginia tech? SAT’s do need help but colleges tend to like first gen and your classes GPA, etc. look good. Colleges tend to know some people just don’t test well, good luck on SAT’s! I’m waiting for my results</p>
<p>Thanks. By the way… let say I have experience in electrical systems, sheet metal, welding, and aircraft engines from the classes I took from my current High School, should I include that in my Resume as like, ‘Tech Experience’?</p>
