Honesty Please!

Hi, can u give me your honest opinions on the chances of admission into these schools. Please honesty is key!

Female

White (caucasian)

GPA- 2.59 UW

SAT's: taken 2 times
CR- 400 Math- 420 WR- 410 = 1230
CR- 440 Math- 410 WR- 380 = 1230

Not applying for financial aid if that matters.

Great essay

Great resume

EC's:

cheerleading captain 4yrs
Softball 4yrs
volunteer work
ect.

Quinnipiac U (early)
Iona College (early)
Hofstra U (early)
Manhattan C (legacy)
Adelphi U
Pace U Pleasantville campus
Rider U
Sacred Heart U
St Thomas Aquinas C

you should try taking the act to see if you can do better. your gpa is low, but those test scores are really holding you back even more. st. thomas is definitely your best shot. but you also have good chances at pace, adelphi and rider.

…bump!!!

^^agree with above

Honestly I hope that you get into every school on your list and then some because you have the guts to put those scores and gpa on this forum…u are the one real person on this site…and i commend you for taht…no joke

well im not gunna sit here and waste my time and lie about my scores (which most people do on this site, it only gives false hope). im just looking for everyones honest opinions. so everyone please gimme some info!

sara123 i have the exact same gpa and test scores and im apllying to iona and hofstra too

I applaud you also…though I wouldn’t really go as far as concluding that “most people” lie about scores on this site. I think it’s just that CC tends to be a more self selective group of students. Most people who post are looking for praise.

anyone? don’t be afraid to say anything lol, i know i have horrible grades.

You are in at all the schools you listed…except for manhattan..thats a reach

how do u figure?

bummmmmmmmmmmp

anyone else??

Not many people know about the colleges that you list, that’s why no one’s responding. But a captain of her cheerleading team worried about college is a nice thing to see :).

well its not really that its my horrendous grades

You obviously have a high level of commitment to cheerleading and softball; I think colleges will note that. You might want to focus your essay on how that’s prepared you for later life, hs cheerleaders are often great motivators in the workplace, good at persuasion, etc. I think Quinnipiac is a reach, and the others are very possible, depending on how you package yourself.

yea i guess… but what about the others.

probably no1s herd of those schools?

heyyyyyyyyyy anyonee!?!
