Honor Code, am I really that screwed?

first find out how the school is recording/reporting this.

sometimes when there is a “gray area,” after everyone has calmed down, the school realizes that they’ve been too heavy-handed.

My friend’s D got one of these because a girl said she wanted to “check her homework answers” with the D’s answers. The girl ended up copying one of the answers and both got punished big-time.

After the “dust settled,” the school realized that my friend’s D had been duped (she’s a very sweet, but VERY naive young girl) and the school removed the incident from HER records.

This kind of stuff has lots of gray areas because a similar thing can happen during study sessions when kids do homework together or when one student “peer-tutors” another student.

Don’t underestimate how much doing this helped your case.

Congrats.

Glad to hear that you were accepted! Congrats.
