Honors A&S Program

According to the BC website, candidates are informed that they’re being considered spring of senior year: [Admission - Boston College](http://www.bc.edu/schools/cas/honors/admission.html)

I was accepted EA but I am retaking the SATs in Jan.–do you think I could send those in and have them be part of the app? My scores aren’t fantastic and I think I can (hopefully) do better so it’d be great it the school could see those.

Anyone know if I can send them in and have them considered when they are choosing Honors Program candidates? Thanks!

Yea..I'm not so sure about that statement..because I was accepted into the Honors Program and got notification with my letter of acceptance.

I got the letter of acceptance to the honors program with my acceptance letter, too..but I took that statement to mean maybe they'll select more people in the spring once they have figured out how many of the people that they originally accepted to the honors program are actually going to go to BC, if that makes sense.
I'm sure it wouldn't hurt to send your new SATII scores to them, though.

How do you know if you are qualified for the honors program? I got accepted but no honors. Should I contact the admission officers?

Basically, you should have around a 2200 and be in the top 5% of your class to be qualified for the honors program.

Sorry for the previous email, I did get in BC Honors A&S.
