Honors Admits?

krayongirl-I attended the Honors Experience last Thursday and went away feeling pretty good about it. Several honors students were there, and in general they were very friendly and helpful, along with the Honors Program staff. Everyone went out of their way to make sure that we knew honors would be a more "individual" experience.

Only a couple weak points....the central one being that when I tried to attend two of the honors classes listed on the schedule, none of them were actually happening! This could have been due to the fact that this was the first "Honors Experience" the university has put on. I might go back to campus later and see if I can sit in on some classes.

I'm trying to decide between UW Honors and a very small liberal arts school in Oregon...I guess the main thing I'm wavering on is whether the Honors Program actually does keep you from feeling like more than a number. I got the impression that the staff and professors really do care about you (if you're willing to make the effort to talk to them, that is).
