Honors and Financial Awards

Has anyone received Financial Award or been accepted into the Honors program?

nahh not yet. i was wondering the same thing.

You find out toward the end of next week.

Did you ask an admissions officer or something? just curious because I won’t call if you already asked.

I called yesterday and was told 1-2 weeks before scholarship notifications are sent out in the mail…

I talked to one yesterday and she just said 7-10 days after you get accepted. That would be next week Tuesday-Friday. I guess it just depends on how far away you live.

we should be hearing about scholarships really soon
i’m anxious haha

University Freshman Scholarship!

It’s the top award! $9600 over 4 years ($1200 per semester)

I have to check one: What’s the difference between accept and tentative accept?

Congrats!

Was it in your FSU email or regular one?

so if we did not get notification by now we didn’t receive one?

I also received the University Freshman Scholarship ($9,600 total for 8 semesters).

by e-mail:

“Congratulations! Based on your academic merit, you have been selected to receive a scholarship from The Florida State University Office of Admissions. The details and terms of your scholarship are available on your Online Status Check…”

congrats!
but i evidently did not get one… I was hoping for the tuition reduction considering I live in NC buttt

What time did that email come in? I know I’m not getting that one, but I’m shocked that one of my friends with a 2080 SAT and 4.3 FSU weighted GPA didn’t get one yet.

I qualified for the University Scholarship with a 30 ACT and 4.0 GPA.

I received the email yesterday at 2:18.

anybody getting the tuition reduction scholarship?

You can get in state tuition if you study abroad the first year.

what if fsu is only sending out the top scholarships first, then see how many people take it. then offer the next level and so on and so forth. just an idea because it doesnt look like anyone on here got lower than the top level and so far ive only heard of one girl at my school who got one and i think she’d get the top level for sure. any thoughts?

My daughter also received the freshman scholarship ($9,600)…

anxiousana

we are trying to figure out the answer to you question also.

I have to check one: What’s the difference between accept and tentative accept?

Palm beach I think you’re right…
