Honors/Ap points?

I don't know how many schools do this, but at my school we get + 7 points for honors and AP courses.

So on our report card/ transcript that we get at the end of semesters, the +7 points will be on the transcript.

So say I got a 90 in an honors/ap class, on the transcript, it says 97.

Now, heres my question.

Will colleges be able to know that my school gives out honor points?
Does my school calculate the weighted and unweighted GPAs then send it to the universities I'm applying to, or do the universities calculate what they see on your transcript?

I have also heard about plus +0.5 on your gpa for AP classes or something. Is this up to the college? Do a large percent of them do this?

Your school gives each college a school profile detailing their grading system. They'll know.

Colleges will recalculate your GPA by however they see fit.

thats a crazy system, it must be really hard then to get an a without the 7 points, cuz if it were my skools we'd all have all 100's
