This is only a rant... but why does my rank always screw me over? 16/337 for ELC didn't count and now 11/338 didn't count. I think I am just an idiot for thinking that they'll let me in with .032. Do you guys think they'll let me into the Honors Program if I am one or two ranks away? I was thinking about calling them.

Did you qualify with your SAT/ACT scores?

unfortunately, I didn't, which is why I am trying to qualify via class rank.

if they still don't let you in, don't worry, you can get into the honors program after your first quarter if you have a 3.5 or higher GPA. It's no big deal, and you really won't need the honors program benefits your first quarter anyway.

how do you know if ur denied i heard results dont come till the 30th

I was checking MyUCLA for orientation signups and I decided to check the honors app and surprisingly, it was up.

How much does priority help? If I go to like.. the third orientation date, will there still be good classes available? I am still going to call and beg them to let me in.. I am barely top 3%

The status of the honors application is up? Mine still says "Pending."

Hmm.. I guess all the denials went out..

Don't worry Jimmy. You can always apply after the first quarter.

Jimmy,

Just do well your first quarter and you'll make it in. No sweat.
