If I took an honors class at my CCC, would the grade be weighted like a high school class would be?

I took Honors Intro. to Philosophy and received an A. Would that count as a 4.0 or 5.0? It was worth 3 credits.

does anyone have an answer?

It would be weighted the same.
so A in honors = 4.0

They don't weight the grades like that, it would be a 4.0, but I'm sure when they look over your transcript they like to see honors coursework if available at your CC.

"they like to see honors coursework if available at your CC."

You have to keep in account that the vast majority of students accepted by UCLA/Cal have never taken honors courses. This is including the ones that are applying from CCs that promotes honors coursework
