Hi Everyone-
We started sending out some of the Honors College acceptances but most will not come out until February. We send your essays to different faculty members to read and it takes awhile for them to get them back to us. Also we have around 1200 applicants and ya'll know how long that application took you so remember we have to read all of it! Needless to to say, if you call we won't have a status on most Honors applicants. We have only sent out our first batch of acceptances.
Don't hesitate to call if you want to check anyways!

I should add... the letter I posted was directed to the people who are worried because they have not recieved honors college decisions, while some people have.

Mary I didnt realize you were so far overseas. How about dropping an email to them?Try addressing it to Ed Black or Heather Wheeler, not just admissions in general

My daughter received a honors denied letter today. It wasn't surprising as her stats are on the low-side for honors college, ACT=30 GPA=4.05, 3.80 Rank=39/375 out-of-state. I am hopeful that she will get into Capstone and get some scholarship. Has anyone heard when Capstone letters or McKisseck letters go out?

If it helps, last year our McKissick letter was dated Feb. 22 and the Capstone invite - March 1.
I remember waiting anxiously for the Capstone letter, because after receiving the scholarship USC had moved up my daughter's list and Capstone was going to be the clincher for her. Thankfully it came , because she is very happy at USC now.
Good luck to all - hopefully good news will come quickly.
