Honors College importance?

I’m at the University of Oregon in the Honors College right now, but so far, I don’t like it all that much and feel that I could make better use of my time fitting in a second major than taking all the required honors courses. Does having “Honors College” on your resume or grad school application make a significant different in helping you get employed or admitted? Or is the different so insignificant that it doesn’t matter? If the consensus is that it makes a big difference, I’ll probably stay in (it’s not horrible). But if not, I feel like I’d enjoy my time more by taking other classes.

It usually helps with smaller, more interactive classes, better housing, priority registration, and more opportunities (networking, research…) If that’s not satisfying to you, there’s no reason why you should “stay”.
BTW, if you’re interested in a subject, you don’t need to double major in it, you can minor or just take a set of courses that interest you.
