Honors College Interview - Question

<p>I know this isn't the forum for Univ of Illinois - Chicago (but they don't have one on College Confidential).</p>

<p>My son has an interview for the Honors College at UIC coming up in January. My question is on dress code for the interview. My thoughts are that he should be in a suit or at least sport coat and tie. But I wondered what others thought. </p>

<p>A dress shirt with tie is fine for the interview. I noticed about 40% wear suits, 50% dress shirt and tie, 9% one notch below and one guy who came with a polo shirt and sweat pants. Honestly, dress makes a difference if your ACT is around a 25-28.</p>
