My daughter applied electronically but how do you know they received it? Sounds like a strange question, but there was no email confirmation and if you go back to that same application page, it doesn’t tell you that you’ve already submitted an app (like it does on the scholarship page). If you want to change your info, update existing, etc, it looks like you can… so how do you know when they “officially” have your application and can’t change or add to it anymore?

^ i think if you log into your alabama email you will see receipt of the honors app. After acceptance all DSs email correspondance was sent to his UA address.

Thanks, I don’t think my daughter has logged in or set up her email as of yet. Will have her try when she comes home from school today.

I think her email was set up when she set up her mybama. When she logs into mybama, have her look for the Crimson email icon on the upper right. :)

At any rate, you can call Jami Gates and ask if it was received … 205-348-5599

I called and Jami said she was admitted. Letter should come in 2 weeks, she says…

Thank goodness for Jami.

I hope all that have gotten help from Jami send a quick email to Dr. Sharpe mentioning how helpful she is. It always helps to have “the boss” hear that you’re doing a great job. Plus, he’ll realize how much she does to help prospective students! :)

Also, if applicable to your situation, mention that student, Jessica T., has also been helpful arranging the CSDay campus tours for honors students. Since Jessica is a student, I don’t want to put her last name here.
