Honors College optional Resume, should I do it?

I am applying to the Honors College at U of South Carolina, and there is an option to add a resume “if you feel that your activities were not adequately captured in the rest of the application, you may use this feature to elaborate on them.” I was able to talk about all my activities in the general application so if I were to include a resume it would be very redundant and not have any new information included in it. Should I still attach it just because it looks better to have one?

I think you answered your own question. If you attach a resume, the reader will open it up assuming that there will be something new, a bit more depth, etc. If you don’t feel that you have anything to elaborate on, then don’t waste their time.

Anything “optional” should be done if admissions are competitive.
Attach your resume since it’s unlikely you could cover everything on it in the questions.
You won’t get docked for including it, whereas you may if you do not include it.
