Honors college question

If i apply to Bama with a score that’s under the honors req, can I apply to the Honors college later with a score that meets the req?

Here’s the deal :)

Yes

[Honors College - Apply](http://honors.cbhp.ua.edu/index.php?page=apply)

Current UA students with a 3.3 GPA or transfer students with a 3.3 GPA will be accepted into the UHP upon submission of their applications. Students will be notified of their acceptance via email.

:)

What are your current stats?

BTW…if you think this is do-able then try to get into Honors Housing as an incoming freshman (if space is available), then you can continue in Honors housing after you’re accepted.

Do I have to apply for housing really early for honors housing?

Ok…

Since you won’t be starting in Honors College, technically you’re not supposed to be in the Honors Dorms…but, because Ridgecrest South (north tower) opened, UA has had some extra Honors dorms, so sometimes Housing lets non-honors kids take those suites.

By trying to get one of those suites, you can continue in the Honors Dorms once you’re accepted into the Honors College.

If you start in a non-honors dorm, then you can’t move into an honors dorm later. So, try to start in an honors dorm.

Let me call Housing tomorrow and find out the best strategy is for this. I don’t know if it’s to sign up in one dorm, and then change it the summer before freshman year or not.

Yes, I get that…ok nvm
